Whiskey Myers 2025 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Southern rock fans rejoice; your favorites are coming to town! Whiskey Myers has not one, but two treks driving into 2025. They’re joining forces with Tedeschi Trucks Band through August 26th in Cincinnati, OH, for the ‘Live in 25′ tour. Afterwards, they’ll kick off the “What We Were Born To Do Tour” on August 27th in Toledo, OH, continuing through December 13th in Boston, MA.
“We were built for the road and the stage. This is what we were born to do,” the band said on the Whiskey Myers Instagram earlier this year. “We’re just gettin’ started. It’s going to be a badass year. We can’t wait to see y’all out there.” They’ve been on the road performing 2025 Whiskey Myers concerts practically all year, but the Texas hotshots are still aching for more. Especially now that they’ve confirmed a seventh album is in the works.
“For those that haven’t figured it out, we have been in the studio with Jay Joyce creating what will be our 7th album,” they said in a statement. “We’ve seen that y’all have been listening to our music more now than ever before, and we can’t wait for y’all to hear this new stuff. Stay tuned. New music is coming soon!” Fans have eagerly awaited a follow-up to 2022’s Tornillo, and they’ve officially stated that Whomp Whack Thunder is coming on September 26th.
Since their formation in 2007, Whiskey Myers has never fit into just one box. Songs like “Ballad of a Southern Man” and “Hard Rowe to Hoe” lean more into the country sound they grew up with, while “Gasoline” and “Bury My Bones” are as rock and roll as it gets. And then there’s the in-between ballads like “Virginia” and “Frogman.” What can we expect from the upcoming record? It’s been described as “pretty straightforward rock and roll,” and that works just fine for us.
With (soon to be) seven albums, millions of streams, and a fiercely loyal fanbase that follows them around the globe, Whiskey Myers have become a Southern rock mainstay with real staying power. Their 2025 touring slate is a testament to not only ambition, but also timelessness that’s kept them both in our hearts and on the charts. You won’t regret attending the 2025 Whiskey Myers tour, with tickets available now.
