Where to See Polo G in Concert in 2021
Polo G is set to perform at some of the country’s biggest music festivals in 2021, and we can’t wait to see one of the best young rappers in the industry. His next performance falls on August 22nd at the HOT 97 Summer Jam in East Rutherford, NJ, while his last takes place from December 10th-12th at Rolling Loud California in San Bernardino, CA.
“Polo is part of a new vanguard that’s moving away from drill’s harsh origins,” Rolling Stone said about Polo G and the rapper’s take on the drill music of Chicago. “He favors freewheeling melodies and a vulnerable writing style that plumbs regret and sadness as often as anger or menace.”
His honest storytelling and melodic raps have established Polo G as one of the best rappers of his time, despite being a mere 22 years old and beginning his career in 2017. He has released three studio albums – 2019’s Die a Legend, 2020’s The Goat, and 2021’s Hall of Fame – which have been well-received by music critics, fans, and fellow rappers.
Polo G, or Taurus Tremani Bartlett, has named Lil Wayne as one of his biggest musical influences. Therefore, it was quite the honor for Bartlett to share the stage with Lil Wayne at the rapper’s Uproar Hip-Hop Festival – which took place in Los Angeles in August 2021. Who says that you shouldn’t meet (or perform with!) your idols?
