Travis Scott 2023 Tour Announcement – Utopia Presents Circus Maximus Tour Schedule
Travis Scott has unveiled dates for the much-anticipated “Utopia Presents Circus Maximus Tour.” And it will be a hip-hop extravaganza unlike any other. He’ll kick off on September 25th in Chicago, IL, stopping in dozens of cities before wrapping up on November 27th in Miami, FL.
After a few years off from touring and recording new music, Scott made the ultimate comeback in the summer of 2023. He released his fourth album, Utopia, in July, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B Hip-Hop Albums charts! With guest appearances from every A-list artist in the game and new singles like “K-Pop,” “Meltdown,” and “Delresto (Echoes,) 2023 will be the year of Travis Scott.
Guest stars on Utopia include Drake, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd, Future, 21 Savage, and Beyoncé, just to name a few. Did we mention that Travis Scott has some famous friends? And then there’s the influence from his friend and mentor Kanye West, which inspired Scott to step away from the Autotune bangers from his last album, 2018’s Astroworld, and into new territory. Or rather, a revival of his older work.
At a recent performance in London, Scott revealed where he got his inspiration for Utopia, plus where he hopes his latest work takes him. “Every time I listen to (Utopia), it just takes me back to the Rodeo days and the Owl Pharaoh days. It just takes me back to the motherf***ing days where we used to just flip sh** upside-motherf***ing-down!” In another interview, he elaborated further on the album title and how he hopes that it translates to his greatest supporters.
“Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” Scott explained. “But you create it yourself. There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.” Scott has had many ups and downs over the years, but he’ll never forget where he came from.
