Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2023 Tour Announcement – The Ghosts of Christmas Eve Tour Schedule
Tis’ the season for a rock opera! Trans-Siberian Orchestra has released dates for their highly-anticipated holiday tour. Dubbed “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve – The Best of TSO And More,” the annual trek will begin on November 15th in Green Bay, WI. The group will continue for roughly six weeks before wrapping up on December 30th in St. Paul, MN.
“For 27 years you have helped make Paul O’Neill’s TSO stories a part of your holiday tradition,” says Al Pitrelli, lead guitarist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra. “And, for 27 years, our tradition has been to make every year’s tour better than the last for you. 2023 is no exception as this year’s tour will be the best ever. I can’t wait to see our ‘repeat offenders’ out at the shows and look forward to seeing the new faces as well.”
While it’s been six years since the passing of Trans-Siberian Orchestra mastermind Paul O’Neill, his bandmates have taken every measure to keep his legacy alive. These celestial light shows are accompanied by plenty of seasonal surprises and your favorite holiday hits with a metal twist. Do “Carol of the Bells,” “What Child is This,” and “Winter Palace” ring a bell, pun intended? Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts have added edge to the Christmas season for over three decades now, and they show no signs of slowing down.
“Ghosts of Christmas Eve” refers to Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 1999 made-for-TV film featuring all your favorite holiday tunes. It’s remained a Christmas classic over the years, and continues to be one of their favorite records to play live! Enjoy songs like ‘Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,’ ‘O’ Come All Ye Faithful,’ ‘Good King Joy,’ ‘Christmas Canon,’ ‘Music Box Blues,’ and more to put you in the spirit. And of course, the jaw-dropping special effects including fog machines and strobe lights that Trans-Siberian Orchestra has made their specialty.
A Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert is a feast for all senses — eyes, ears, and even taste! While they have non-Christmas songs too, the holidays are truly where their hearts are. And they can’t wait for you to join them on the Ghosts of Christmas Eve Tour. Get your tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra today!
