A new Trampled By Turtles tour is coming to your city, supporting the group’s upcoming tenth studio album, Alpenglow. The beloved bluegrass group will kick off the trek on July 9th in Duluth, MN, and continue through January 21, 2023, in San Diego, CA.
What calls for such a long Trampled By Turtles tour? The band will release their first album in four years in October 2022, which calls for a celebration. They’ve come a long way since 2018’s Life Is Good on the Open Road, which reached #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass chart — and can’t wait to hit the road with their unparalleled blend of bluegrass and indie-folk.
A Trampled By Turtles concert is an incredible experience. From breathtaking instrumentation and frontman Dave Simonett’s ethereal songwriting to the unwavering devotion from legions of fans who’ve loved them for 20 years, the band can put on a show. The name, Alpenglow, refers to the optical phenomenon when the sun displays a deep red glow at dawn, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that reminds you to savor every moment.
