The Pretenders 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
The Pretenders are back! The British group will set out on tour this summer in support of their twelfth album, Relentless. Planned around their dates opening the Foo Fighters tour, Chrissie Hynde and Co. will kick off on July 13th in Red Bank, NJ. They’ll stop in Lenox, MA, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, and more before concluding on August 14th in Wheatland, CA.
Since the late 1970s, The Pretenders have transcended the barriers of punk, new wave, and rock with their fearless beats, complemented by the flawless and instantly-recognizable voice of Chrissie Hynde. While the beloved front woman had to go on hiatus earlier this year after knee surgery, she’s now more ready than ever to tear up the stage. At these shows, you can expect a blend of classic The Pretenders songs, along with deep cuts, exciting covers, and future favorites from their new record.
Relentless came out last year to rave reviews, living up to its title by carrying on the timeless sound of the Pretenders. New songs like “Let the Sun Come In,” “I Think About You Daily,” and “A Love” are a testament to Hynde and guitarist James Walbourne’s beautiful collaborative musicianship.
