Sigrid 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Sigrid concerts are coming to the US in fall 2022, taking the Norwegian singer-songwriter to twelve new cities. She’ll kick off on September 25th in New York, NY, and make stops in Philadelphia, PA, Toronto, ON, Denver, CO, and more before concluding on October 13th in San Diego, CA.
“I’m really grateful and happy to be back,” Singrid recently told The Sunday Post about her first post-pandemic shows beginning in early 2022. “During lockdown, it was the only thing that was on my mind – tunnel vision to getting back. I’m really excited to be back on tour, it’s my happy place.” She’s toured all across her native Europe, but is now ready to return to the US with her synthpop and electronic beats in tow. She’s made it clear that performing is one of her favorite parts of her musical career, and her fans feel the same when hearing her best hits like “Strangers,” “Plot Twist,” and “Sucker Punch” from the stage.
“I’m really lucky. I feel proud, like I’m really seeing the fruits of the work,” she continued in the same interview. “That really comes to me during the live shows. Real people, real faces, singing together,” she concluded, “It’s incredible to see that, with my music, I can make people have a good time for an hour.” “Good time” is an understatement, as the 26-year-old songstress has quickly developed a cult following with her hit singles and collaborations. She caught people’s attention with her debut album, 2019’s Sucker Punch, but her recent sophomore album, How to Let Go, released in May 2022, has opened up new doors for Sigrid.
Collaborations with major artists have been plentiful, including the singles “Bad Life” with UK rock band Bring Me the Horizon and the upcoming “Head on Fire” with Gen Z singer Griff. Of course, she’s making plenty of noise (pun intended) on her own. How to Let Go has received excellent reviews and made it onto plenty of Billboard charts, while new songs like “Mirror,” “Burning Bridges,” and “It Gets Dark” have become the ultimate crowd pleasers.
