Rainbow Kitten Surprise 2024 Tour Announcement – Love Hate Music Box Tour Schedule
Rainbow Kitten Surprise is back with their biggest headlining trek yet! The “Love Hate Music Box Tour” is set to kick off on September 9th in Indianapolis, IN, continuing through November 25th in San Francisco, CA.
The indie rock favorites are supporting their fourth album, Love Hate Music Box, which also marks their first new release in six years. And needless to say, fans have listened to these tracks on repeat since they were released last month. The lengthy project, which clocks in at 22 songs, is one of the most passionate and personal that Rainbow Kitten Surprise has ever done. And they can’t wait to share it with their biggest fans in every city.
“They’re not just in our brains, or even in our emotions,” vocalist Ela Melo, who came out as transgender in 2022, explains of the new tracks. “They’re a tangible force — as tangible as gravity or electromagnetic energies. They’re real physical forces, and they run the universe.” Additionally, guitarist and vocalist Bozzy Keller called Love Hate Music Box “kind of like a re-branding” for Rainbow Kitten Surprise. And fans are on board.
“New songs like “Peter Pan,” “Lucky,” “SVO” and “Rabbit Run” are as dreamy as the band who made them – fusing intricate lyrics, soulful harmonies, and dynamic melodies for a one-of-a-kind sound. Fair warning: these stories aren’t always pretty, especially those dealing with Melo’s depression that led to the band’s hiatus.
