Ozuna 2022 Tour Announcement – Ozutuchi Tour Schedule
A new Ozuna tour is happening in fall 2022, supporting the Puerto Rican singer’s new album, Ozutochi. He’ll kick off the trek on September 30th in Brooklyn, NY, and continue through December 9th in Miami, FL.
Ozuna, born Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, is one of the biggest reggaeton stars in the world, often seen on the lineup of music festivals like Latin Legends, Calibash, and beyond. And while he’s been having a lot of fun during festival season, the 30-year-old singer-rapper is also ready for a headlining tour. He’s been releasing new music since the beginning of 2022, including “Deprimanda,” which has 57 million YouTube views, and “Santo,” his collaboration with global superstar Christina Aguilera. The new reggaeton hits will only continue with Ozutochi, released later in the year.
“I’ve been working hard these past months on a lot of exciting new projects,” Ozuna told Rolling Stone. “I have some surprises coming: ‘Deprimida’ is just the beginning of this new chapter. My fans are in for a lot of different styles. I’ve been having some fun and can’t wait for everyone to get to hear it all.”
Ozuna has been mixing styles since the beginning of his career, dancing between reggaeton, bachata, Latin pop, and hip-hop. The New York Times once stated that he “can work across all these genres at the same time,” which is “a testament to the current fluidity of Latin pop, but also the effectiveness of his singing.” They added that he “has a sweet, nimble voice that he sometimes deploys like a balladeer, and sometimes like a rapper.” He’s been receiving compliments on his genre-blending throughout his career, and he’ll take it to the next level on Ozutochi.
Except for 2021, likely due to the pandemic, Ozuna has released a new album each year since 2017. He’s one of the hardest-working reggaeton stars that consistently puts out quick, high-quality work, and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve with Ozutochi.
