Osheaga Music and Arts Festival 2023 Tour Announcement
Osheaga Music and Arts Festival is all set for late summer 2023… we’ll meet you in Montreal! Taking place August 4-6 in the Canadian hotspot, the show will be headlined by RÜFÜS DU SOL, Kendrick Lamar, and Billie Eilish.
“Osheaga takes great pride in presenting various renowned and emerging artists who create a series of installations, enhancing the public experience year after year,” reads the official website. Spoiler alert: It’s undoubtedly true, as plenty of up-and-coming artists have been discovered at Osheaga. Can you believe that the event has been happening for sixteen years now? Osheaga Music and Arts Festival is the ideal spot to display everything from colorful murals to catchy music. Because all types of artists are welcome at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau.
In addition to the rising superstars, there are also the A-list singers who come to this event every year! 2022 had Dua Lipa, Machine Gun Kelly, and Charli XCX, just to name a few. 2021 featured Foo Fighters, Cardi B, and Post Malone… need we go on? Osheaga Music and Arts Festival may be a bit less flashy than Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza, but that’s just a part of its charm. You’ll get up close and personal with your favorite artists without making it a fashion contest, a la Coachella, while the smaller crowds give you more room to make memories and listen to quality music.
It’s no surprise to see Kendrick Lamar on this year’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival lineup, as he’s on a bit of a festival run throughout 2023. Seriously, he’ll also be at Life is Beautiful, Lollapalooza, Governor’s Ball, and Bonnaroo, just to name a few! However, the other headliners made us raise our eyebrows in the best way. Billie Eilish is taking a bit of a breather from performing in 2023, having toured the world last year, but she couldn’t resist making a stop in Montreal. Additionally, RÜFÜS DU SOL is taking a break from their headlining tour to deliver some quality EDM hits. We love this for us!
