Orville Peck 2024 Tour Announcement – Stampede Tour Schedule
The “Stampede” is just getting started with a new Orville Peck tour! The masked country singer is coming to 40+ cities beginning on May 28th in Asheville, NC. Joined by various openers including Durand Jones, Debbii Dawson, The War and Treaty and more, he’ll continue through October 20th in Brooklyn, NY.
“I am incredibly happy to be joining the Warner family and getting back on the road this year,” Peck said in a statement, referring to his recent signing with Warner Records. “I feel happier and healthier than I’ve ever been, and I’m excited to start this new chapter.” The feeling is mutual for his beloved fans, many of whom have watched him rise to mainstream success with his first two albums, 2019’s Pony and 2022’s Bronco.
While there’s no word yet on when we’ll get the much-anticipated third Orville Peck album, he’s set to release exciting new music very soon. His first release with Warner Records? A duet with world-renowned country music Willie Nelson, in which they share vocal duty on a cover of the 1981 song by Ned Sublette, “Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other.”

While Nelson already sang it on his own about seventeen years ago, Peck will bring a modern and magical twist to the track that symbolizes old and new country music colliding. With his strong and sultry voice, ever-present fringe mask, and persona that includes being openly gay and dedicated to mental health advocacy, he’s definitely not your typical country music star. And he’s all too proud of it.
Peck’s immense appreciation for his fans is evident in everything he does, from his greatest hits like “Dead of Night,” “Let Me Drown,” and “Roses Are Falling” to his theatrical stage presence. He even opened up about the latter to E! Online back in 2022, which was nothing short of heartwarming. “I bring a big theatricality to what I do—I try to be really vulnerable and compassionate and just accepting of who I am,” he said.
“I think that draws in a certain safety that people can recognize that they can be who they are at my concert, no matter what,” Peck continued. “You don’t have to be a big country fan. You don’t have to be LGBTQ+. You don’t have to be anything; you can just come as you are and feel like you’re included and encouraged to be a part of it.” This inclusivity is a part of Peck’s brand, and he can’t wait to share this new chapter with you as he hits the road.
