Norah Jones 2024 Tour Announcement – Visions Tour Schedule

Norah Jones is ready to jazz up your spring 2024 concert schedule! Pardon the pun, but this is a must-see show for any jazz, blues, or pop enthusiast. Joined by Emily King, the Visions tour will begin on May 6th in Boston, MA, making eight stops before wrapping up on June 30th in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Named for upcoming ninth album, Visions, this expedition will unveil a new era of Norah Jones. The record’s first single, Running, is both a blast from the past and nod to the future; blending her signature smooth melodies with bass-heavy verses like she’s never done before. Her ability to wear all sorts of musical hats while still appealing to her “day one” fanbase is all kinds of impressive. And “Running” is just the beginning of the silky-smooth vocals and elusive arrangements you’ll hear on Visions.

“The reason I called the album Visions is because a lot of the ideas came in the middle of the night or in that moment right before sleep, and ‘Running’ was one of them where you’re half asleep and kind of jolted awake,” she said in a statement. “We did most of the songs in the same way where I was at the piano or on guitar and Leon [Michel, her producer] was playing drums and we were just jamming on stuff. I like the rawness between me and Leon, the way it sounds kind of garage-y but also kind of soulful, because that’s where he’s coming from, but also not overly perfected.”

She also referred to Visions, her first non-holiday album in four years, as “vibrant and joyous.” And while it’s certainly a departure from her moody, often melancholy early work, it’s also a testament to Jones’ growth as a person and performer. The 44-year-old will celebrate new beginnings along with the legendary tunes that made her a nine-time GRAMMY® winner.
