Kenny Chesney 2022 Tour Announcement – Here and Now Tour Schedule
Kenny Chesney is finally heading on his Here and Now 2022 tour next spring, and it’s a grand time to see the country superstar! His trek begins on April 23rd in Tampa, FL, and continues through August 27th in Foxboro, MA.
“When we hit pause on our 2020 tour, I never thought we would go much past the fall, let alone into 2021,” Chesney said in a statement. “The idea that it would be three years before I would stand in the end zone of Gillette Stadium, where No Shoes Nation was born, wasn’t something any of us could conceive.
Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, is an exceptional venue for Chesney, as he’s played there countless times in his 33-year career. The stadium is also where he announced his beloved nickname for his fandom, No Shoes Nation, back in 2012.
“I always want to be that place where you can let go, feel safe, and have the time of the summer,” Chesney continued. “After a lot of work on a lot of people’s parts, a lot of cooperation from the folks at the stadiums, the places we’re coming, and the teams we share those venues with, we’re ready to announce the Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour.”
No Shoes Nation has waited patiently for months for rescheduled tour dates, and now they’ll finally get the chance to see Chesney on stage in his signature cowboy hat! Chesney has toured so frequently over the years that The Wall Street Journal once called him the “King of the Road,” and you’ll be hearing three decades’ worth of country-rock hits.
As a Tennesse native, country music has always been in Chesney’s blood. There’s the hit song “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem,” that helped inspire the name for his fan base, along with “There Goes My Life,” “Somewhere With You,” “Anything But Mine,” and many more. He’ll also be playing some new songs from his nineteenth album, 2020’s Here and Now!
“Like it does for everyone, the idea of music, live music, fills me up,” Chesney explained in a statement. “Nothing is so in the moment, so completely alive. I want to start 2022 with the awesome rush that embodies everything playing for No Shoes Nation is. We’re calling the tour Here And Now 2022, because when we get together, there is only the present – and it’s so electric and good, I know I don’t want it to end. I just want to be 100% there with all of you.”
