Jungle 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Jungle is returning to the US with a bang! The British neo-soul trio will take off on September 20th in Carnation, WA, stopping in Reno, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Austin, TX, and more before wrapping up on October 19th in Miami, FL.
The funk collective — comprising of Josh Lloyd-Watson, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto — is still supporting their fourth album, last year’s Volcano. Singles like “Candle Flame,” “Dominoes,” and “Back on 74” (with a music video that’s racked up 30 million views!) have been stuck in our heads for a year now. And you’d best believe that was Jungle’s intention when they sat down to record this explosive album.
“The creative process for Volcano was notably different, primarily because we pushed ourselves further into the realm of electronic sounds,” the group said in an interview with Sound of Life. While most commonly known for their musical mix of soul, funk, and pop, the choice to delve into electronic elements was risky, but oh so rewarding for Jungle, which they had no problem expanding upon.
“We allowed ourselves the freedom to experiment, to step outside of what we knew and venture into the unknown,” they continued. “This meant challenging our own preconceived notions about what Jungle’s sound could be. As a result, “Volcano” feels like new ground for us, a leap into an exciting, uncharted territory.” This thrill effortlessly transferred over to their longtime fans, who helped Volcano enter the Billboard 200 and reach No. 3 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
They knew they had a lot to prove after the success of their last album, 2021’s Loving in Stereo, which climbed the charts and received incredible reviews. Who doesn’t love “Keep Moving” and “Talk About It?” That being said, Jungle may have just outdone themselves with Volcano, which is why they can’t stop touring the globe to perform these new songs. Only a month after their much-talked-about performance at Coachella, another headlining Jungle tour is in the works. And we love them for it.
