Jukebox the Ghost 2023 Tour Announcement – I Got A Tour Schedule

Jukebox the Ghost is performing in spring 2023! The power-pop band will begin on March 30th in South Burlington, VT, making stops in Toronto, ON, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, and more before finishing up on April 11th in Columbus, OH.

Called the “I Got A tour,” in quirky Jukebox the Ghost style, this trek continues to celebrate the trio’s sixth album, Cheers. With new songs like “Brass Band,” “Ramona,” and “Everybody Panic,” they’re planning to show you why they’ve been the most underrated group on your playlist since 2006. Seriously, what other group is as unapologetically weird as they are? Ben Thornewill, Tommy Siegel, and Jesse Kristin know exactly who they are and what their fans want, and they can’t wait to deliver every night on this spring 2023 Jukebox the Ghost tour. 

“We wanted to pull the things that we loved from past records and own it a little bit,” frontman Thornewill told Atwood Magazine about Cheers. “So we’ve taken some of the wackier, zanier, more ridiculous, piano-centric arrangements of the first record, and then some of the poppier, fun stuff that we learned in the later records and tried to put it together.” You’ll know he’s not kidding when you listen to “Hey Mauve,” a grand piano-driven bop that was written over a decade ago, or the epic ballad “Century in The Making (Intro.).”

It may have taken Jukebox the Ghost an entire four years to follow up their 2018 record, Off to the Races, but they’ve more than made up for it with their latest project. Cheers is an album that demonstrates their 17-year musical journey in all its glory… the good, the bad, and the downright strange.
