ITZY 2024 Tour Announcement – Born To Be Tour Schedule
ITZY has announced the “Born to Be tour” for the summer of 2024, taking the South Korean girl group to ten cities. They’ll begin on June 6th in Seattle, WA, stopping in Oakland, CA, Houston, TX, Newark, NJ, and more before wrapping up on June 29th in Toronto, ON.
Fans can expect an empowering performance of ITZY’s third album, Born To Be, which has vastly raised the quintet’s profile since its January release. Debuting at #1 on the worldwide iTunes chart across 23 overseas regions, every K-Pop fan has been talking about ITZY. And rightfully so. This album not only features the group’s current hit single “UNTOUCHABLE” but also marks a major musical milestone for every member.
The quintet – consisting of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna – was able to express their musicality in a majorly innovative way on Born To Be. Unlike previous releases, the project includes solo tracks from each member. In which they injected their personal tastes and specialized talents to help fans get to know them better. Needless to say, these solos only enhanced their reputation for individualistic anthems, and ITZY couldn’t be happier about it.
“It’s the same strong ITZY, but a little bit mature and also a little bit chic,” Ryujin told USA Today about Born To Be. “It has a very similar energy that we carry from recent albums, but also having a mature part. Yuna also jumped in with her own take on adulthood, evolving artistry, and how they often go hand in hand. “As we’re getting older, we can see that we’re much more mature,” says the 20-year-old. “I think it eventually appears in this new album that we’ve evolved.”
The “Born to Be” tour is anticipated to be a full-circle moment for fans, offering a blend of new music and beloved hits. You’ll hear all your favorite ITZY songs from the last five years, like “LOCO,” “DALLA DALLA,” and “Not Shy,” that focus on freedom and self-love.
