Iration 2023 Tour Announcement – IRL Fall Tour Schedule
Iration is taking a trip across the country on the “IRL Fall Tour!” The reggae giants will begin on October 13th in Wheatland, CA, continuing through November 17th in Tucson, AZ.
This Iration tour is named for the group’s new single, “IRL,” which has since racked up over half a million views on YouTube! As with most of their hit songs, like “Wait And See,” “Stay the Course,” and “Reelin,” it’s a feel-good tune that’s destined to make you sway and sing along. Lead vocalist Micah Pueschel talks about “cruisin’, smokin’, and spending a little time by the ocean” before diving into the chorus. And it’s a doozy.
“If you want to feel alive, you can catch a sunset in real life,” he sings… and where is the lie? The Santa Barbara-based band built a reputation for its beachy vibes, laid-back energy, and brilliant verses over the past two decades. And all of these things come together on “IRL.” Additionally, if you love their latest single as much as we do, boy, do we have some great news for you!
Iration is set to release a new album this summer, the follow up to 2020’s Coastin‘. Pueschel recently shared more about the record with Broward Palm Beach Times, which made us even more excited. “We’re really excited about it,” he told the publication. “It’s definitely going to be a more up-tempo and beat driven record which is something that we really felt that we needed to bring to the next step.”
“We worked with a different team for this one,” he continued. “We worked with a different producer David Manzoor, who’s from the hip-hop world and then we have the engineer and the mixing team from the indie-rock scene who worked with Imagine Dragons and The Killers. We had a really, really good team in the studio. Everything went really well and the songs all came out great. I’m really proud of it.”
Coastin’ was the pandemic album that put us in a better, more beachy mood during the darkest times, and we’re eternally grateful for that.
