Hanson 2022 Tour Announcement – Red Green Blue Tour Schedule
Your favorite teen idols are all grown up and coming to a city near you on the Hanson tour! The pop trio just announced the Red Green Blue tour, named for their upcoming album and beginning July 12th in Houston, TX.
“Going into our 30th year as a band, we felt like it was imperative we continue to tell our story like only we can, and telling stories in ways that will continue to challenge us to grow and give people new reasons to listen,” Isaac Hanson said in a statement. “Red Green Blue is about sharing what has made us a band that has been able to weather so many storms.”
Can you believe that the three brothers have performed as Hanson for three decades? You may know them from their status as 1990s heartthrobs, notably from their cult song “MMMBop,” but the truth is that Isaac, Taylor, and Zac have been through so much more together.
They’ve sold 16 million copies of their twelve albums, been nominated for Grammys, and toured the world together – an impressive feat for three boys from Oklahoma. While they’ve all done solo projects since they formed in 1992, they always end up coming back together, and that’s the story they’re hoping to tell with Red Green Blue.
The record will be released on May 20th, just in time for the boys to head on the Hanson tour in summer 2022. They’ve yet to release any new tracks just yet, but we’re expecting a more mature sound that incorporates their signature power pop. The brothers now range from 36 to 41 years of age, and they’re celebrating three decades of performing together with a Hanson tour like you’ve never seen before.
Will you be reliving your youth by seeing your teenage crushes on this Hanson tour? We hope so! Check out the following dates for the Red Green Blue tour!
