Gorillaz 2026 Tour Announcement – The Mountain Tour Schedule
Gorillaz are bringing their virtual universe back to the US in 2026, launching “The Mountain Tour” this fall. The run begins September 17th in Orlando, FL, visiting cities like Camden, NJ, Denver, CO, and Fort Worth, TX, before closing on Halloween night in Seattle, WA.
Fans have been speculating for months about what comes next for Gorillaz, and the reality has somehow exceeded their expectations. After a set of Hollywood Palladium shows where Damon Albarn and company performed The Mountain in full, while opening the U.S. edition of their House of Kong exhibition, it became clear that the new era is officially underway. And it’s going to be a first-of-its-kind experience for old and new fans alike.
Calling a Gorillaz concert a “show” simply doesn’t do it justice — it’s a full-blown spectacle that combines good old alternative rock with high-tech visuals you’ll never unsee. Albarn leads a full band onstage while Jamie Hewlett’s animated universe takes over the room — screens, silhouettes, visuals and all — and you’ll be in Gorillaz world from the second their animated counterparts appear behind them.
And with their latest album, The Mountain, now in the mix, that universe keeps expanding. New songs like “The Happy Dictator,” “The Manifesto,” and “Damascus” already proved themselves at the Palladium shows, landing easily alongside longtime staples like “Feel Good Inc.” and “On Melancholy Hill.” This combination of 2000s essentials and modern hits has always been a part of Gorillaz formula….
As experimentation is in their DNA. What started in the early 2000s as a mysterious “virtual band” experiment has turned into one of the most visually ambitious live productions in today’s music scene, and every Gorillaz tour seems to push it a little further.
