Godsmack 2026 Tour Announcement – The Rise of Rock Tour Schedule

Godsmack are returning to the road on “The Rise of Rock Tour,” joined by Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy for the loudest set of shows in summer 2026.  The run starts May 7 in Daytona Beach, FL, then keeps rolling through the season until September 26 in Nampa, ID.

Godsmack is officially in their “touring band era,” and that’s just fine with (most of) their fans. While we haven’t gotten an album since 2023’s Lighting Up the Sky, and likely won’t anytime soon (more on that later), there’s still plenty of chances to see them live in 2026. Along with these headlining shows, they’ve also racked up festival slots at events like Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple.

This Godsmack tour is basically built for anyone who still wants their concerts loud enough to feel in their chest, and Godsmack’s catalog is perfect for that. Their catalog has always been made for big venues — with songs like “I Stand Alone” and “Voodoo” hitting as hard as they did decades ago. The crowd doesn’t sing along…they yell along, and diehard fans will be happy when Godsmack pulls a few deep cuts from the vault, too.  

So why aren’t they making new music? Ex-drummer Shannon Larkin summed it up best when he interviewed with Blabbermouth back in 2024. “We’ve had great success — we haven’t had a flop — and we don’t wanna keep on going until we get a flop.” He also clarified the obvious fear fans always have: they’re not breaking up. They’re just choosing to focus on what makes the most impact in real time…the live shows.

And if you need a reminder of why this band still matters in the modern rock world, it’s simple: Godsmack have spent decades stacking No. 1 rock hits, then showing up night after night and making those songs feel even bigger onstage than they do in your car.
