Garth Brooks 2023 Las Vegas – PlusONE Residency Schedule
Garth Brooks begins his new Las Vegas residency, “Garth Brooks/PlusONE,” in 2023! The country music megastar will kick off on May 18th in the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, continuing for 27 dates.
“Vegas is the place where anything goes, and The Colosseum at Caesars is the heart of Vegas,” Brooks said in a statement, “The perfect combination to present a show that will not only push the envelope, it’s gonna shred it.” Additionally, he opened up to Billboard in an exclusive interview about what fans can expect, especially since it’s been nearly a decade since he wrapped up his last Las Vegas residency in 2014.
“Any given song, all 10 band members will be playing and singing, then none of them will be,” he told the publication. “Then maybe percussion and background vocals for ‘The River.’ Or [I’m] talking about George Strait and ‘Amarillo by Morning’, and all of a sudden [Jimmy] Mattingly shows up with the fiddle, and it’s just [me] and him,” he continued, “Any given night can have any given variation of any given song.” This explanation refers to the residency title, “PlusONE,” which refers to not only the fans but his loyal backing band.
It’s safe to say that Brooks won’t have a problem selling out more than 4,000 seats at the Colosseum, as he just wrapped up his sold-out Stadium tour! The 60-year-old was a bit of an innovator in post-pandemic touring, becoming one of the first artists to host performances inside venues at nearly 100% capacity. Thousands, if not millions, of fans, flocked to see him perform his greatest hits in every city, and now they’re going to do the same in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
