Ethel Cain 2025 Tour Announcement – Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour Schedule
Ethel Cain is charting a bold new course in 2025 with her “Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour,” named for her much-anticipated new album, arriving August 8th. She’ll begin the 2025 Ethel Cain concerts on August 12th in Seattle, WA, continuing through September 20th in Chicago, IL.
Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You is technically only Cain’s second album. However, it still serves as a cinematic journey through the Southern Gothic world she’s built since her debut, 2022’s Preacher’s Daughter. You see, Cain began the year with the experimental EP Perverts, then teased this sophomore LP — a prequel set in 1986 that fills in the heartbreak and transformation hinted at in Preacher’s Daughter.
Singles like “Nettles” and “F*** Me Eyes” reveal a laid-back, low-key haunting sound that fits Cain’s stunning voice to perfection. Mixing poetic rawness with revolutionary stories — both fictional and drawing from Cain’s own experiences — she’s redefining what it means to be a modern indie songwriter. And she’s excited to share the next part of her concept album(s) with you on Willoughby Tucker Forever.
Of course, anybody familiar with Ethel Cain knows that her songs are only a part of her legacy. So much so, that she told The Cut how her role as a philanthropist and truth-teller was just as important as her catalog. “As an artist, I think you have a responsibility to instill a sense of selflessness and justice in people,” she says. “I never want people to think, Oh, I just listened to her for the music.” Is it an odd thing to say? Sure…but normalcy has never been in Ethel Cain’s DNA.
The openly-trans artist has long been a voice for those who need one — speaking up against politics, authority, and injustice in a beautiful way. She weaves her beliefs into her recordings and live Ethel Cain concerts like a boss, and these upcoming performances will be no exception. Are you set to stand up for those who need it, while singing along to both new songs and older hits like “American Teenager,” “Crush,” “A House in Nebraska” and “Strangers?” Get your 2025 Ethel Cain tickets now.
