Eric Church 2026 Tour Announcement – Free the Machine Tour Schedule
Eric Church is keeping the machine running into 2026, extending his “Free the Machine Tour” after a wildly successful first run last year. Joined by special guests including Kashus Culpepper, Ella Langley, Caylee Hammack and more, he’ll begin these Eric Church concerts on January 22nd in Washington, DC. He’ll stop in Buffalo, NY, Tulsa, OK, North Charleston, SC, and more before finishing up on April 11th in Tampa, FL.
What began as a curated arena experience in 2025 has now grown into a longer, more confident second chapter — one that finds Church fully settled into the creative world he introduced with Evangeline vs. the Machine. He’s described himself as an “album artist” first and foremost, even in the modern technological age, and every one of these new singles ties together to create one of his most brilliant pieces of work yet.
“In the day we live in now, with all the social media… you can release a song on Tuesday, another song on Friday, another song on Tuesday,” explained Church. “I’m an album artist, always have been, and I think we’ve gotten away from that now. The ‘machine’ is consumption; the ‘machine’ is the world we live in – and the interesting thing about ‘Evangeline’ is it’s kind of creativity versus the machine, and ‘Evangeline’ represents that creativity.”
That imagination comes through loud and clear, literally, with new songs like “Hands of Time” and “Johnny.” They’re peak Eric Church energy with his country twang and North Carolina roots, while also showing a new musical chapter that’s as fearless as it is fresh. These songs come to life in an even more beautiful way when played live, as they were crafted to please a large audience rather than an algorithm. Every Eric Church concert unfolds like a statement piece, built around mood, pacing, and intention.
Add in the classics like “Drink in My Hand,” “Springsteen,” and “Heart on Fire,” and you’ll be yee-hawing throughout the show like Church taught you to. It’s a collaboration between songs old and new where he’s trusting the songs, the silences between them, and the connection he’s built with his audience over years of doing things his own way.
