Conan Gray has announced the “Superache” tour for fall 2022, supporting the YouTube star-turned-pop sensation’s sophomore album. He’ll kick off these Conan Gray concerts on September 16th in Louisville, KY, and visit cities like Orlando, FL, Chicago, IL, San Diego, CA, and more before wrapping up on October 25th in Las Vegas, NV.

Gray has been upfront about the fact that he’s oversharing on his sophomore effort. “Writing this album was miserable, and that’s why it ended up being a super-accurate depiction of my life,” he told Rolling Stone. “It felt like scraping my ribs of any last bits of meat.” “With Kid Krow, I was very much like, ‘Hi, I am Conan, nice to meet you. These are some things that happened. My heart has been broken before, when I was a teenager,” he continued. Half-jokingly, he concluded, “But then with this album, it’s like, ‘I had a really bad childhood. I’m in a lot of pain.”
Songs like “Family Line” are highly personal and almost didn’t make the record, but Gray mustered up all his bravery to create his best piece of work yet. He may be only 23 but has dealt with more heartbreak than people twice his age. Past songs and YouTube videos have discussed his difficulties growing up biracial in Texas while dealing with abuse, poverty, and discrimination. He has taken these tragic experiences and turned them into something incredible, first with his 2018 EP Sunset Season, then Kid Krow, and now Superache.
