Carin León 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Carin León is coming to a city near you in early 2023! The Mexican singer will next perform on January 27th in Rosemont, IL, making stops in Glendale, AZ, Oakland, CA, Albuquerque, NM, and more before concluding on February 26th in Sacramento, CA.
León continues to support his more recent albums, including 2021’s Pistiembre todo el año and 2022’s Cura Local. They’ve both been a major success for the 33-year-old singer, with the singles quickly making their way up the charts and YouTube’s most-watched list. The song “Que Vuelvas,” a collaboration with Grupo Frontera, earned León his first-ever entry on the Billboard 100! Additionally, the “Dame Un Beso Y Dime Adios” music video with Grupo Yndio has earned 28 million views on YouTube! Needless to say, last year was highly successful for Carin León, and he’s only leveling things up in 2023.
Other Carin León songs deserve plenty of recognition, too, like “No es por aca,” which Billboard named as one of the best Latin songs of 2022! He holds every last original track in his heart, along with the 30+ song covers that appeared on Cura Local. This record has a lot of cultural significance to him, as he explained in a statement, and will give listeners more insight into who he is as an artist and a human being.
“I wanted to bring together the great artists from Hermosillo, those that I listened to in my childhood and my teens, and have the world see them,” the singer explained in a press conference in his native Hermosillo, Sonora, in northwestern Mexico. “We have a unique flavor, and I want people to understand much more about Carin and my connection with these people, who are part of my DNA.”
“In Sonora, from the 70s to the 2000s, we had our own sound; we had our own way of sounding like a band, like a norteño,” he continues, “With all due respect to my Regional Mexican colleagues, we have always been different here, we have never wanted to look like anyone else, not even in the way we dress.” Packed with covers of songs by Los Honorables, Grupo Yndio, Roy Rosas, and more, León has done an honor to his hometown and all those who hail from it.
