Brett Eldredge 2022 Tour Announcement – Songs About You Tour Schedule
Brett Eldredge is coming to a city near you on the Songs About You tour, taking the country singer to 24 cities starting in summer 2022. He’ll kick off this Brett Eldredge tour on June 19th in Wheaton, IL, and continue through September 24th in Saginaw, MI.
This tour supports his upcoming seventh album, Songs About You, and it’s safe to say that the record’s name is accurate. Eldredge has put his fans first throughout his entire 12-year career, and frequently expresses his gratitude on Instagram for those who show up to every performance. He’s missed playing to packed crowds over the past few years but is now ready to take one of his biggest post-pandemic Brett Eldredge tours on the road. And we can’t wait to hear Songs About You!
He’s released both the titular track and “Wait Up For Me” as singles, both of which have been loved by country fans. He explained the backstory for the latter song, which was co-written by Eldredge, Mark Trussell, and Heather Morgan.
“Mark and I started writing this song by the fireplace in Montana. He was playing around with some chords on the piano and I just started singing and putting a sexy feel to it,” Eldredge says. “Heather was dealing with some altitude sickness that day and was resting at the time but suddenly she appeared out of nowhere with this amazing line – ‘I’m gonna keep you warm like a furnace in the winter, you can cool me off like a summertime breeze.’ She arose from her slumber and just jumped right in!”
The result was a beautiful song that’s peak Brett Eldredge, and makes us even more excited for the rest of the tracks on Songs About You! In addition to new singles, he’ll also play classics like “Don’t Ya,” “Somethin’ I’m Good At,” “Wanna Be That Song” and more.
