Backstreet Boys 2022 Tour Announcement – DNA Tour Schedule
Backstreet Boys are extending their DNA world tour, with the beloved boy band visiting 45 new cities. They’ll kick off the trek on June 4th in Chula Vista, CA, and continue through September 14th in Oklahoma City.
The quintet appeals to every generation. Millennials listened to hit Backstreet Boys songs like “Everybody” and “I Want It That Way” on their CD players or at the roller rink as kids. Meanwhile, Gen Z knows them from their ninth album, 2019’s DNA, which marked the group’s comeback after a six-year hiatus. The album was so epic that they’re still celebrating it three years later, and you can get a taste of both old and new pop hits on this Backstreet Boys tour.
The setlist on this Backstreet Boy tour includes “Incomplete,” “The Call,” “As Long As You Love Me,” “Larger than Life,” and nearly thirty other tracks. Basically, a solid mash-up of 1990s classics, 2000s favorites, and 2010 jams. The group has frequently stated that they prefer to be called a “vocal harmony group” instead of a “boy band,” and it makes sense when you hear their songs.
All five original members — AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell — will be present on the DNA tour. And you can witness firsthand how they perfectly sync their voices together for the best pop choruses. Sometimes McLean or Carter will get more of a solo, but the rest of the band is happy to sing backup while their brother gets their moment. It’s pretty rare for a music group to go through zero lineup changes after nearly three decades together, but the Backstreet Boys’ secret is always being in sync. Both personally and musically.
Of course, it also doesn’t hurt to have a loyal fanbase that’s followed you through nine albums, musical transitions, and comparisons to other boy bands (Like N*SYNC). Many of them will be present on the 2022 Backstreet Boys tour, which is set to kick off very soon. Get your tickets now to the following dates!
