BABYMETAL 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
BABYMETAL is bringing their brand of kawaii metal back to the US! Joined by Scene Queen, the Japanese trio will begin on November 5th in Orlando, FL, extending through December 3rd in Anaheim, CA.
You may recognize BABYMETAL from their recent collaboration with Electric Callboy, a dance-worthy number called “RATATATA.” An epic metal mashup between Japan and Germany, the single has racked up over six million views in mere weeks and continues BABYMETAL’s winning streak in 2024. Let’s not forget that international musical alliances are nothing new for the group, having killed it with Bring Me the Horizon on “Kingslayer” a few years back!
But now, the trio — comprised of members Su-metal, Moametal, and Momometal — is set to celebrate their own musical accomplishments on their next tour. And trust us when we tell you there are many. They’re still supporting their fourth album, 2023’s The Other One, a mashup of lyrics about love, heartbreak, loss, and uncertainty over the best J-pop-meets-power metal riffs you’ve ever heard. And it’s going to pan out to some of the most epic performances from these heavy music icons.
BABYMETAL aren’t your typical heavy band. They’re dainty, smiling, and dance around onstage like their lives depend on it. But don’t, for even one second, think that means they don’t understand metal. New singles like “Divine Attack (Shingeki)”, “Light and Darkness, and “Metal Kingdom” are hauntingly heavy tracks that blur the lines between adorable and aggressive. They dance up a storm one second before delivering blood-curdling (in the best way!) screaming vocals the next. It’s just the BABYMETAL way.
This is only a part of the reason that BABYMETAL has owned the rock scene for over a decade now. As in, ever since the members were just teenagers with an appreciation for heavy metal and J-pop.
