Dance your way into 2024 with Adam Ant! The new wave icon is all set for the “ANTMUSIC Tour,” his first headlining trek in five years. He’ll kick off these Adam Ant concerts on March 21st in St. Louis, MO, continuing through May 10th in Phoenix, AZ.

While he’s made some onstage appearances in recent years, including 2023’s inaugural Cruel World Fest, Adam Ant has mostly been on hiatus throughout the 2020s. And who can blame him, with the way he’s danced and sung nonstop since the 1980s! But somehow in 2023, he knew that it was time for a comeback. This year marked the one-decade anniversary of his sixth and latest album, Adam Ant Is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter.

Meanwhile, the modern new wave revival is undeniable…and it wouldn’t be complete without Adam Ant. The 69-year-old has a lengthy catalog of groove-worthy singles, including “Stand And Deliver,” “Goody Two Shoes,” “Strip,” and “Antmusic.” His collection of hit songs, both solo and with his band The Ants, helped establish him as a pioneer of the genre…but it was also so much more than that. In reality, Adam Ant has a sense of theatricality that’s simply unmatched.

One can’t discuss this era of music without mentioning his signature pirate-like onstage attire, flamboyant movements, and rebellious spirit that captured the essence of new wave. Not to mention glam pop, post-punk, and several other genres that he fearlessly mixed into his music, unlike other artists at the time. Adam Ant has never been afraid to experiment with his sound and style choices, and he’s even more wonderfully weird in the 2020s.
