Zach Top is proving that traditional country music is alive and well with his “Cold Beer & Country Music Tour” in 2025. The rising star will play next on September 27th in Lubbock, TX, continuing through December 12th in Las Vegas, NV.
The 2025 Zach Top tour comes on the heels of his debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, which dropped last year. Featuring songs like “Sounds Like the Radio” and “Cold Beer & Country Music,” the record is packed with fiddle, steel guitar, and that timeless sound reminiscent of ’90s legends like George Strait and Alan Jackson.
The classic country style only continues on his sophomore album, Ain’t In It for My Health, which was released just last month. One only needs to listen to the lead single, “Good Times & Tan Lines,” to know that Zach Top always has a beer in his hand and honky tonk in his heart. And it’s just the beginning of the good vibes and big tunes you’ll get on the 2025 Zach Top tour.
“You always have in the back of your mind the age-old tale of the sophomore slump,” he told Billboard about releasing his new record. “I wouldn’t say there were no nerves, but not a ton. When I put out that first record, I wasn’t doing anything that I didn’t love and that I didn’t think was entirely me. When I put that out and people loved it as much as they did, it was kind of a sigh of relief. It’s like, ‘Oh, well s—t,’ I can keep doing that. That’s just me.”
That’s quite the relief for us, right? He may be only 27 years old, but Zach Top has the voice and guitar skills of all your favorite 80s country icons. But Travis Tritt or Alan Jackson he’s not… he’s simply himself. And this authenticity helped Cold Beer & Country Music not only be certified Gold, but also earn placements on “Best Country Albums of 2024” lists from Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Taste of Country.
