Burna Boy 2023-2024 Tour Announcement – I Told Them…Tour Schedule
Burna Boy is back for one of his greatest expeditions yet! The Afrobeats hero will begin the “I Told Them…Tour” on November 3rd in Los Angeles, marking his first-ever stadium show in the City of Angels. He’ll stop in sixteen cities including Seattle, WA, Houston, TX, and Boston, MA, before concluding on March 9, 2024, in Atlanta, GA.
It’s safe to say that booking a stadium show is a major deal for any artist. So what does it say about this Nigerian hitmaker that he’s hosted not one, not two, but three Burna Boy concerts in stadiums this year? Especially since he’s broken records while doing it. The “Like to Party” singer became the first Nigerian artist to headline a US stadium when he played Citi Field this summer. He also became the first African artist to sell out one of these mega-venues when he played at Madison Square Garden a few miles away!
The setlist at these shows included all-new singles from Burna Boy’s seventh and latest record, I Told Them…. From “Sittin’ on Top of the World” and “Talibans II” to “Big 7,” and “Cheat on Me,” every last person in the stadium was on their feet as they swayed along to these slick Afrobeats. The record, which includes guest vocals from 21 Savage, J. Cole, Wu-Tang Clan, and more, was a critical and commercial success in every way. It even debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, serving as Burna Boy’s first top-charting album!
And if you thought this summer’s Burna Boy concerts were impressive, just wait until you see what he has planned for the I Told Them…Tour! With his unwavering commitment to celebrating African music, unparalleled pyrotechnics and special effects, and smooth vocals that can do no wrong, you’ll be losing yourself in the best way with every song. This includes not only his new hits, but also older favorites like “All Eyes On Me,” “Gum Body,” “Killin Dem,” and more.
As 2023 commemorates both the tenth anniversary of his debut, L.I.F.E, and the release of the most recent, and arguably most catchy, Burna Boy album, it’s clear that this is a full-circle year. The 32-year-old artist is ready to celebrate in stadiums with his biggest fans. And he can’t wait to see you cheering him on in the stands! Get your Burna Boy tickets today.
