Described as a “riot of energy” with amazing ants, silky spiders, flexible dragonflies, and crazy crickets in a colorful ecosystem, you won’t believe your eyes with this incredible show. “Ovo” means “egg” in Portuguese, and it’s the basis of the entire performance. When a mysterious egg character arrives on stage, the other insects are intrigued and intensely curious about this object that “represents the enigma and cycle of their lives.” They spent the entire show trying to decipher what this means about their existence, throwing in a few musical numbers along the way to ease the intensity. Add a love story between a gawky bug and a fabulous ladybug, plus a magnificent caterpillar that moves with grace… and you’ll be “bugging out” about this beautiful show.
