The Millennium Tour: Turned Up 2022 Lineup and Ticket Schedule
Calling all 2000s R&B fans, are you ready to see a Bow Wow concert unlike any other? “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up” takes you on a trip down memory lane, visiting 24 cities with guests like Bow Wow, Mario, Keri Hilson, Ying Yang Twins, Pleasure P, and more. See the traveling rap and R&B tour beginning October 7th in Hampton, VA, with stops in Baltimore, MD, Louisville, KY, Birmingham, AL, and more before concluding on November 27th in Oakland, CA.
The lineup for “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up” will surely ring a bell with 90s kids, who had Bow Wow and Mario ringtones long before iPhones were a thing. It’s going to be a night of dance-worthy nostalgia and deep appreciation for the tunes of the 2000s, and it’s not every day that you see these hip-hop and R&B favorites all in one place. Last year’s version of “The Millennium Tour” was joined by Omarion, Ashanti, Soulja Boy, and Pretty Ricky and was even nominated for “Best R&B tour” at the Pollstar Awards, so it was a big deal. Now the trek is even more established and ready to impress you with a selection of both old and new R&B and hip-hop hits.
Bow Wow was also on last year’s Millennium trek and made headlines after he engaged in (and lost) a Verzuz battle with his tourmate, Soulja Boy. Fans speculated about whether there would be beef with the longtime rivals, but unsurprisingly they kept it cool. Bow Wow (aka Shad Moss) perfected his hits like “Basketball,” “Like You,” and “Outta My System,” while Soulja Boy caused an uproar with “Crank That.”
You may remember the second song that everybody was dancing along to in the mid-late 2000s, with a catchy intro verse of “youuuuu!” that earned the rapper seven weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It hits a bit differently when you’re in your late 20s or early 30s, sure, but the song will always have a place in our hearts. And you can’t miss the chance to dance along to these R&B and tap tracks on “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up.”
