RÜFÜS DU SOL 2022 Tour Announcement – Surrender Tour Schedule
RÜFÜS DU SOL is heading on the Surrender tour in summer 2022, which EDM.com calls “the biggest tour of their career.” See the EDM trio beginning June 1st in Chicago, IL, with performances continuing through October 22nd in Orlando, FL.
The RÜFÜS DU SOL tour supports the trio’s fourth studio album, Surrender, released in October 2021. Their first record in four years reached No. 2 on Billboard’s list of Top Dance/Electronic Albums, a career-best for the Australian band, and was well-received by critics. Singles like “Alive,” “Next to Me,” “On My Knees,” and “I Don’t Wanna Leave” resonated with longtime fans of RÜFÜS DU SOL while also displaying their post-pandemic growth as musicians.
“The body of work is texturally diverse, offering raw emotions, captivating vocals, organic and cinematic soundscapes, haunting synths, celestial sounds, and moments designed for pure dance floor euphoria,” wrote Forbes in a rave review of Surrender. “Indeed, the body of work proves to be another masterful production by the group.”
RÜFÜS DU SOL had been relatively quiet before 2021, taking a break from new singles and red carpet appearances. This hiatus was only prolonged by the pandemic, although the band recently told People that this time helped them “rediscover their love for music.” The result was Surrender, a stunning EDM album beloved by fans and critics alike. The single “Alive” from their fourth album earned them their first Grammy Award in April 2022 for “Best Dance Recording,” which they can’t wait to perform in front of thousands of fans on the Surrender tour.
