Rod Wave 2023 Tour Announcement – Nostalgia Tour Schedule
Rod Wave is making, well, waves with the announcement of the “Nostalgia Tour!” Joined by Ari Lennox, Toosii, and G Herbo, he’ll kick off on October 19th in Lincoln, NE. The rapper will make 35 stops before wrapping up on December 18th in Jacksonville, FL.

Rod Wave is one of the biggest workaholics in the rap scene — releasing a new album every single year since 2020! While fans were enthralled with last year’s Beautiful Mind and its subsequent Rod Wave tour, they’re also delighted about his latest project. Nostalgia came out in September supported by five new singles, including “Fight the Feeling,” “Call Your Friends,” and “Come See Me.” The album is projected to be the “third-biggest rap debut of 2023,” only after Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott!

Is it just us, or is Rod Wave getting better with each new record? He’s only 25 but has already made the most genre-fusing, on-fire tracks that the world’s most successful rappers would envy. He’s also not afraid to get in touch with his emotional side, often a rarity in rap, which he recently opened up about on Apple Music 1. “I feel like on this album, I was able to spread my emotions around, and I have more time just to touch bases on different kind of points of views on different subjects,” he said about Nostalgia.
“I turn it to a butterfly. I’m full-grown on this one…I remember once upon a time, it was crazy for me to be saying, I’m going to be a rapper, and this why I’m investing all my time and all my money and all my whole life into losing relationships and just a lot of stuff.” One of those lost relationships resulted in the 2019 breakout single “Heart On Ice.” Remember how it went viral on TikTok and YouTube and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, helping to catapult Rod Wave to widespread recognition?
Listeners emphasized with his half-rapping, half-singing approach to love and loss, and even shared their own stories of heartbreak. This song cemented Rod Wave as a Gen Z icon in every sense of the term, and his status has only gotten more prominent in the years since. You can expect to hear all his greatest hits from the past few years at these Rod Wave concerts, like “Dark Clouds,” “Paint The Sky Red,” “Girl of My Dreams,” and “Rags2Riches.” Plus all the new tunes off Nostalgia, of course!
This Rod Wave tour is essential for any fan of hip-hop or R&B, and we can’t wait to see the surprises he cooks up. Will he bring out his Nostalgia guest vocalists, like 21 Savage and Sadie Jean? Or will there be a mixed-up setlist in every city? You’ll just have to find out! Get your Rod Wave tickets today.
