Pusha T 2022 Tour Announcement – It’s Almost Dry Tour Schedule

Pusha T is heading on tour in support of his latest album, It’s Almost Dry! The hip-hop hero will begin the trek on May 29th in Seattle, WA, and continue through June 23rd in Philadelphia, PA. 

Everybody in the industry is talking about It’s Almost Dry. Featuring guest appearances from Ye, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, and Pharrell Williams, the record is a beautiful balance between his past life as one half of Clipse and his current gig as one of the best solo artists in the rap game. You may have heard the new singles like “Diet Coke” and “Neck and Wrist,” but seeing them performed live takes things to a new level!

Pusha T, born Terrence LeVarr Thornton, has been proving himself as a hip-hop mogul since the 1990s, so it’s no surprise that It’s Almost Dry is a hit. But just listen to what the critics have to say. Consequence stated that the album “drips confidence from knowing Pusha is one of a few artists who can do what he does at a very high level.” 

Meanwhile, NME gave the record a solid five stars and a killer review. They claim Pusha T “raises the bar even further with 12 tracks of braggadocio raps underpinned by exemplary production split by two of hip-hop’s greatest producers.” They’re referring to Ye and Pharrel Williams, two industry legends who are always willing to help out one of their own.

“Dry” doesn’t seem to be a word that describes Pusha T at the moment, as he’s holding “Cokechella” listening parties in New York, climbing the charts, and preparing for a mega tour. But he told Rolling Stone the meaning behind the album name, and it makes total sense for the man who’s been making hip-hop masterpieces for decades.  

“I’m always creating a masterpiece and in the creation of that in terms of a painting, you end up telling people while they waiting on it, ‘It’s almost dry,’ because they’re always asking, ‘When will it be done?’,” said Pusha T. “And you have to wait on masterpieces. Also in drug culture, a lot of times you’ll have people waiting on the product and it’s not dry yet. You can come get it when it’s dry.”
