Nas and Wu-Tang Clan 2022 Tour Announcement – NY State of Mind Tour Schedule
Nas and Wu-Tang Clan are heading on an epic co-headlining trek in fall 2022, dubbed the NY State of Mind tour. The hip-hop icons will kick off the trek on August 30th in Maryland Heights, MO, and visit dozens of cities before the final performance on October 4th in Los Angeles, CA.
Nas and Wu-Tang Clan likely need no introduction, as the two New York-based artists have been releasing top-charting rap singles since the 1990s. Nas has countless No.1 singles and multiplatinum albums under his belt, while Wu-Tang Clan is commonly referred to as the greatest hip-hop group of all time. While they’ve never formally toured together, the artists have tons of history, and you can see it all firsthand on the NY State of Mind tour.
Nas has collaborated with one, several, or all members of Wu-Tang Clan on many occasions, dating back to 1995’s “Verbal Intercourse” with Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. He also provided guest vocals on Wu-Tang Clan’s 2000 album The W, along with yet another Raekwon collaboration titled “Rich & Black” from his 2011 album Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. Nas even appeared in the 2019 documentary series, Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, talking about his decades-long friendship and collaboration with the hip-hop masterminds.
