Logic 2023 Tour Announcement – College Park Tour Schedule
Who’s ready to let loose at a Logic concert? The Grammy-nominated rapper has announced the “College Park tour” for spring 2023! Joined by Juicy J, this trek will kick off on May 25th in Madison, WI, continuing through June 30th in Phoenix, AZ.
Logic supports his eighth album, College Park, which just came out in February 2023! It’s his first release as an independent artist after ten years with Def Jam Records, and let’s just say it’s a big deal. The record is a mix of the Logic you know and love plus fresh beats that signify his freedom, and we’re all about it. With new singles like “Wake Up,” “Highlife,” and “Lightsabers” on the setlist, this Logic tour is going to be a surreal experience for both old and new fans.
“I love y’all, and I’m making sh** from the heart,” Logic told fans in a YouTube video. “I’m loving hip-hop. I was not really feeling it for a while. I don’t really mean the music, I just mean the b*llsh** of the industry. But I realize now more than ever that none of that matters. I’ve missed you guys, and I’m here, and I just want to have fun, and I’m so excited for College Park.” Don’t get us wrong, we loved his last album, 2022’s Vinyl Days, but College Park just speaks (or raps!) from the heart. Logic is clearly in his element after a decade in the spotlight, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
The reaction to Logic’s new album is all you need to know that it’s some of his best work yet. Not bad for a guy who, just two years ago, claimed he was retiring from music! College Park debuted at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 and No. 12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, in addition to receiving rave reviews from critics! Stereoboard gave it four stars and called the album a “phenomenally cohesive and textured listen.” Meanwhile, Clash Music called it a “360 viewpoint of a figure who is often miscast” and called College Park “some of the best work of Logic’s career.”
For the record, they’re not wrong! Logic is following his own beat as an independent artist and killing it every step of the way.
