Gaelic Storm & The High Kings 2023-2024 Tour Announcement – The Mighty Tour II Tour Schedule
Gaelic Storm and The High Kings are embarking on a co-headlining trek in 2023-2024! The two Irish groups will kick off “The Mighty II Tour” on November 1st in Annapolis, MD. They’ll continue for several months before wrapping up on March 29th in Glenside, PA.
It doesn’t need to be St. Patrick’s Day to do an Irish jig and hum along to some of the country’s best jams. And Gaelic Storm and The High Kings have proved it for decades! Both groups have a dedication to touring that has taken them worldwide year after year. And 2024 is no exception. As they embark on The Mighty Tour II, which is not the first co-headlining Gaelic Storm and The High Kings Tour and definitely won’t be the last, you’ll get a custom look into each groups artistry. They may share an appreciation for their home country, but their respective approaches to music and performing are entirely their own.
Let’s start with Gaelic Storm, shall we? You may know them as the Irish band in Titanic that added a soundtrack to Rose and Jack’s below-deck party over two decades ago. It was this recognition that helped get them noticed, but the band has grown so much in the years since. Along with their fourteen albums, Gaelic Storm is also known for its “blue-collar and hard-nose” approach to touring that’s led them to play an average of 200 shows per year. As they work through favorites like “Johnny Tarr,” “Beggarman,” and “Scalliwag,” their affection for their fans becomes evident in every note.
“The fans are the ones that have given us this life. We’re here for them,” Gaelic Storm frontman Patrick Murphy once said. Aw! Meanwhile, their bandmates share a similar love for their supporters. The High Kings have dropped dozens of traditional Irish folk hits since 2008, charming listeners with exceptional harmonies and breathtaking ballads. Songs like “The Rocky Road to Dublin,” “Red Is The Rose,” and “The Parting Glass” will speak right into your soul! They create visions of the lush greenery and rolling hills of Ireland, unleashing a new love for Celtic music that you may or may not have even known you had.
