Flatbush Zombies 2023 Tour Announcement – BetterOffDEAD 10th Anniversary Tour Schedule
Flatbush Zombies are going back on tour! The hip-hop trio is celebrating one decade of their second mixtape, BetterOffDead, and it’s the best thing ever. They’ll begin on November 15th in San Francisco, CA, making eight stops before concluding on December 15th in Anaheim, CA.
There’s no denying that the early 2010s were an excellent time for hip-hop. Because of a few big names, sure, but also due to a certain Brooklyn-bred trio that was slowly rising the ranks of the rap scene. Yes, we’re talking about Flatbush Zombies! Their debut mixtape, 2012’s D.R.U.G.S., got them noticed, but it wasn’t until BetterOffDEAD that their fan base grew to the extreme.
Featuring singles like “Club Soda” with Action Bronson and “Drug Parade” with Danny Brown, the EP was met with plenty of praise from critics. Big music publications like Consequence of Sound and Exclaim! gave mad props, while XXL even called it one of the best mixtapes of 2013! BetterOffDEAD was a bit of a gateway to their debut album, 2016’s 3001: A Laced Odyssey, plus many other musical achievements over the years.
Made up of rappers Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick Arc Elliot, Flatbush Zombies have become a force to be reckoned with in the ten years since BetterOffDEAD. They’ve continued to explore their artistry, both together and through solo projects. While it’s been a minute since they released their latest album, 2019’s collaborative Escape From New York, we’re hoping that they’re cooking up something great in the studio.
