Carin León 2023 Tour Announcement – Colmillo De Leche Tour Schedule
Carin León is coming to the US on his “Colmillo De Leche Tour!” The Mexican superstar will begin on August 10th in Chicago, IL, continuing through October 8th in Charlotte, NC.
“To all my people from the USA, here I have the dates for our new tour “COLMILLO DE LECHE!”,” León wrote on Instagram in his native Spanish. And needless to say, his 2.7 million followers flooded the post with messages of excitement and support. “To each and every one of you,” he continued, “I thank you for the support I’ve received every day!”
This Carin León tour is named for his upcoming album, Colmillo De Leche, due out on May 18th. And fans can expect a setlist comprised of all new Spanish-language hits! León’s music has always blurred the lines between ranchera, corridors, and banda, but this record is unique. The new single “Primera Cita” is a pop-powered track that still pays homage to his Regional Mexican background but with a modern twist.
And then there’s “Si Es Cierto Que Te Vas,” which he giddily shared last year alongside his Latin Grammy nomination for Best Regional Song. The track highlights León’s impeccable vocals in an entirely new way, which the upcoming tour will put on full display. “From the first moment I heard it, I connected with the lyrics and the fresh, authentic language,” Leon told Rolling Stone in September 2022 about the song.
“I had the opportunity to work with Alberto Medina and Orlando Aispuro on the mix and the production, and we gave ourselves the freedom to explore and fuse Mexican folk with pop and country bases, resulting in a song that I am sure will connect with fans and offer a preview of what I’m preparing for my next album.” That album is finally here, and we have no doubt that we’ll be stunned yet again by León’s musical ability on Colmillo De Leche.
