Grupo Frontera has announced the “Jugando a Que No Pasa Nada tour” supporting their second album of the same name! The musica Mexicana hitmakers will kick off on August 2nd in Las Vegas, NV, making 30+ stops before wrapping up on October 5th in Edinburgh, TX.
The six-piece group released its sophomore album, Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada, in May, featuring twelve standout tracks that pay homage to their culture. Spanning genres like Norteño cumbia, Sinaloan sierreño, and tribal guarachero, plus R&B and country, Grupo Frontera has ventured into uncharted territory yet again. And they’re more than ready to share these updated sounds with loyal fans.
New songs like “Quédate Bebé,” “Ya Pedo Quién Sabe,” and “No Hay Vato Perfecto” are unlike anything than Grupo Frontera has done before. And while they’ve only been around for two years, that’s saying a lot for the band whose persona revolves around rapid musical experimentation. These songs are largely inspired by romance and heartbreak, and unlike their last record, draw inspiration from American country music artists like George Strait and Morgan Wallen.
