Future and Metro Boom 2024 Tour Announcement – We Trust You Tour Schedule
The “Future” is looking bright on the “We Trust You Tour!” Hip-hop hero Future is joining forces with record producer and longtime collaborator Metro Boomin for an epic new trek, beginning on July 30th in Kansas City, MO. They’ll stop in Milwaukee, WI, Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, and more before concluding on September 9th in Vancouver, BC.
The first thing to note about this Future tour? The title is a tad ironic. He and Metro Boomin released two collaborative albums just this year, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You. But now they’ve turned the tables to suggest a shift of focus, and influx of trust, in their beloved fans. All of whom will get to hear these new songs, like “Type Sh**,” “Young Metro,” and “We Still Don’t Trust You” live for the very first time.
In a solid album review of We Don’t Trust You, Clash explained why the relationship between Future and Metro Boomin was one-of-a-kind in the rap game, and they’re absolutely right. Stating how the record “epitomises just why Future and Metro Boomin work together so seamlessly,” the publication also says that the project “stands as testament to the unique bond between these two A-list rap talents”
Alas, it’s true, as Future’s spitting rhymes flawlessly complement Metro Boomin’s more complex, dark, and divine production style. We already know they can create a killer record or two in the studio, but their onstage chemistry takes things to a new level. On the We Trust You tour, you can expect to hear not only their joint songs…but also the solo Future and Metro Boomin hits that have driven rap fans crazy for well over a decade now.
Future is a force to be reckoned with in the rap world, incorporating elements of trap into his music to craft some of the most innovative hip-hop tracks of the decade. From “Mask Off” and “Solo” to “Low Life” and “Wicked,” the best Future songs have cemented his status as a musical pioneer. Of what? Auto-tuned trap, platinum records, and all-star collaborations with Drake, The Weeknd, and Pharrell Williams, just to name a few.
And then there’s Metro Boomin, who brings his own hip-hop expertise to the table. He’s produced music since he was a teenager and worked with some of the world’s most prominent artists. Not only Future, but also Young Thug, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, and more! Seriously, he’s responsible for major hits like “Heartless” by The Weeknd and “Congratulations” by Post Malone, along with his own music (including 2022’s Heroes & Villains) that’s made him the ultimate one-man-show.
All in all, these two are immensely talented along, but even better together. And you can’t miss your chance to see Future and Metro Boomin make noise on the We Trust You tour. Get your tickets now!
