It’s time to party with Lil Tjay! The rapper has announced his “Beat The Odds Tour” for the fall of 2023. He’ll kick off on September 21st in Pittsburgh, PA, continuing through December 15th in San Francisco, CA.
Fresh off the release of his highly-anticipated third album, 222, Lil Tjay is ready to show the world that he, well, beat the odds. Much of the record is based on a tragic shooting last year that left the 22-year-old in critical condition. And while he now has a clean bill of health, the emotional wounds are much deeper. This record is a tale of vulnerability, strength, star-studded collaborations and so much more.
Just watch the music video for the first single, “Beat The Odds,” which is nothing if not brutally honest and brutally catchy. The visuals depict Lil Tjay in the hospital post-shooting as he raps about the trauma that brought him into this situation, along with the hope that he’ll come out alive. Spoiler alert: he definitely lived to tell the tale in the form of 222, and can’t wait to perform these new tracks in front of millions.
