Where to See Steve Aoki in 2022-2023
Steve Aoki has a handful of shows coming up before the end of 2022, and we can’t wait to see the iconic DJ! You can next catch him on December 27th in Mashantucket, CT, with stops in Philadelphia, PA, and New York, NY, before wrapping up the year on the 30th in Miami Beach, FL. He’ll also perform in 2023 with visits to South Padre Island, TX, on March 13th and Anchorage, AK, on April 8th.
Aoki has made many nightclub and festival appearances through 2022, including Sunfest in West Palm Beach, FL, and Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. He even joined Taking Back Sunday at When We Were Young Fest in Las Vegas this past October, bringing a bit of electronica into the emo extravaganza! And that’s on top of his entrepreneurial endeavors, which range from cryptocurrency and philanthropy to recording music for more of his famous friends. Aoki is a busy guy, there’s no doubt about it, but he always finds time to top off the year with his trap and house hits, and these late 2022 performances are a can’t-miss event for any EDM fan.
Aoki’s biggest hits always make the setlist, like “Melody,” “Delirious,” and “Azukita.” But what if we told you that he had a whole new slew of songs to play in late 2022… because he does! His seventh record, HiROQUEST: Genesis, was just released this year, featuring all-new tracks like “Move On” with Kane Brown and Ricky Retro, “Just Us Two” with Taking Back Sunday, and “Movie Star” with Mod Sun. Guest vocals by his famous friends never truly change on each Aoki album, but everything else is a whole new tune for longtime fans. After all, this is his first post-pandemic record, and Aoki made sure to pack it with fresh beats and dance-worthy choruses made for any type of EDM lover.
“Overall, the electrifying combination of sounds, which merge various influences and genres across the board, has made this album immensely satisfying,” says EDM Identity about Aoki’s latest record. “HiROQUEST: Genesis serves to be another rousing addition to Steve Aoki’s multifarious discography, as it fuses all of the varied genres into a delectable record.” Spoiler alert: it’s just one of many rave reviews, because pretty much everything that Steve Aoki puts out is the fire emoji reimaged! He knows his way into the hearts of any electronic music fan, which is even more apparent when you see him live.
